De Dog and De Frog

Just had my first birthday. As de birthday dog I got a new pink camo collar, some Scooby snacks, a new toy - pink and fuzzie and, yes, it squeaks! A tummy rub - dat was so nice - my mom is fo fweet and kind to me - a new water bottle for de dog park outings, a couple of rib bones and I chased a little frog around de patio for a bit! Weird! Thanks for all my birthday wishes friends! What a great birthday! Love Tess

TESS SAYS: Warm & Fuzzies NEED A HOME

Okay big hearted peeps! Pick one - see if you can. Dees puppies are A-DORABLE! Someone found the mom and passed her off to a kind soul at a farm/nursery in Beggs, OK. Turns out she was "in the family way". Mom is medium sized lab mix - cream color and looks like the dad may have had some Sharpei by the looks of the wrinkles. These will be very nicely tempered dogs and probably the size of a sharpei or so. The rancher is willing to bring them to Tulsa to good homes or my mom will transport also. De need love and a yard. So, if you've been looking for that one true friend who is ALWAYS glad to see you (even if you don't have dinner ready) please consider one of these. You won't be sorry! My mom still count de days since she adopt me (171) and love every day! (even tho I chew de shoes!) Contact my mom (lisa@lsdphotos.com) and she'll make sure you get one right away.

The Dog Dish is a really cool store for dogs at 51st & Sheridan in The Farm. Many of you know, LSD Photography is located in what once was The Dog Dish in Brookside, and we all still just love that store! You can get yummy treats there, comfy beds, pretty collars and TOYS! But, did you know they have a website and lots of activities for dogs and their people to do together? They do! Let's go, let's go, let's go, let's go!!!

More Best Friends

We haven't been posting all our friends in here like we oughta. I still have a cone on my head b/c my leg isn't completely healed and I really am quite OCD about it and won't leave it alone. It's makin me crazy! Nobody really is my friend right now b/c I stink inside this cone. I have to dip it in the pond to drink and sniff the fish, you know?

BUT - here's a couple of good looking dogs, huh? Cyrus and Rufus. They had their photos taken at LSD Photography for a surprise gift for their mom and dad. Here's one - just watching the river run. I'd love to be there with you guys. Fweet!

Meet Tess

Dis de fren, Tess. She a shelter dog. We have a kindred spirit b/c we both have de cones on de heads for a while. Now she live with de momma fren, Lisa. She love it! She so happy! She hang out at de studio too. You can go by and say hi! Because Tess a shelter dog, she have life before dat we not know all about yet. She have street smarts. She run like de wind! We find out she big Sooner fan! She very sad about de Sooners performance las night. No biscuits for dos Sooners!

So, today's the big day. You'd have thought I'd get something more than another stinking cone after the year I've had. At least this one's pink. Like that pig in the crib. I really want to eat that pig.

Meet Lucy—newest member of the pack. She floats. And she smells really good. I checked her out. She has great toys. I'm dying to eat the little pink pig in the crib. Now if I can just get her to throw ball.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

The new year started out great! Napped a little. Chewed on the pink ball for awhile. I love that ball. My rehab is coming along. As some of you know, I had a jolly ball incident ("the incident") a while back and had to have surgery on my hind leg - tore my ACL. Here are a few photos - I had to wear that ridiculous cone on my head - what are they trying to do to me? A little downward dog exercise and I'll be good as new. I'm excited about my new blog! Thanks, Santa! I'll start introducing my frens to you soon. They're a great pack!
